Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Foodco Holding on Tuesday reported turning a profit in the third quarter of 2016.

The company posted a profit of AED 2.99 million ($813,930) in Q3-16 against a loss of AED 12.72 million ($3.46 million) in the same period last year, according to a bourse filing.

As for the nine-month period ended 30 September 2016, the Abu Dhabi-listed company reported a profit of AED 36.95 million, down 27.7% from AED 28.94 million in the year-ago period.

The foodstuffs company previously posted a profit of AED 33.96 million in Q2-16, up 18.5% year-on-year.
